WEBINAR: Building Confident Communicators in the Classroom

Presented by Learning Without Tears™

This webinar focuses on teaching early learners the foundational skills for effective written communication. When students build good habits in these skills, it sets them up for success with writing and allows them to focus on the content of their writing, instead of the mechanics. When students can focus on the content of their writing, they are better able to communicate their thoughts.

Learning Objectives:
  • Understand the connection between great writers and confident communicators in the classroom
  • Discover the communication skills needed to help children complete assignments and raise test scores
  • Identify easy strategies to build early learning, handwriting, and keyboarding skills
  • Provide your teachers access to fun lessons that build communication skills in elementary school
Denise Donica and Keith Kline of Learning Without Tears™ share purposeful pre-writing activities that engage children as active and physical learners. You will also learn ways to ensure that your handwriting instruction is not only developmentally appropriate, but also multisensory and fun. And last but not least, these experts will provide you with strategies for teaching your students essential keyboarding skills and digital citizenship responsibilities. The presentation also includes a brief question and answer session.

(This webinar was recorded in May 2017.)
